CIRCULAR

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has after revision of the then existing Schemes of Assistance for education, training and rehabilitation etc. of Disabled and operated through the non governmental organisations, introduced a Scheme titled Scheme to Promote Voluntary Action for Persons with Disabilites. This revised Scheme has been in opeation for more than a year and the Ministry has felt the need to clarify and reiterate the provisions under Para 2(1) and 2(2) on page 7 of the Scheme which envisages the payment to staff etc. in the form of fixed Honorarium and the discontinuation of Salary structure provided under the earlier schemes. In this context and in consonance with the above provisions the word "Salary" wherever appearing may be replaced by "Honorarium"
