As SC population % is significiant only in the two states of Assam and Tripura, the budget estimate of Rs.4.00 crore for Girls hostel & Rs. 1.00 crore for Boys hostel (under NE) has been divided in the ratio 3:1 Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram & Nagaland do not have SC population, while Manipur, Meghalaya & Sikkim have negligible SC population.
